Recipe Book

Okay, this was a Christmas project, but since I have so much on my plate right now and haven't even gotten pictures of my last mini album.  So here is a recipe book I made for a friend for Christmas.  The pictures aren't the best, but I think it came out really cute (now I need to make one for me)!  I started with a Civil Codes Practice and Procedures 3-ring binder that we were going to throw away at the office (I grabbed all three of them - yay!).  I simply decorated the cover and the index dividers that came with the binder.  I also created pockets on the dividers for handwritten recipes that might have been passed down from family (the ones you don't want to copy over or loose the handwriting).  So now, we can tape, staple, or rewrite onto cardstock pages and add the recipes in.

I Finally Found My Card Catalog!!!

Okay, I am sooo excited.  I have been looking for a library card catalog for months with no luck (well at least I couldn't find one that I could afford), but I finally found one this weekend (Yay!).  Here it is:

As you can see, I have been trying out a few differnt drawer pulls that I want to add in various places . . . of course I am partial to the pink glass one - lol.

Scrap Camp Update

We've had a lot of people who can only make one day of camp, so the've decided to take sign-ups for one day or two days. The only catch is that you won't know which four instructors/classes you will have; but the way I see it, they are all great, so you can't loose! Like I mentioned before, the breakdown is $12.50 per class (what a deal)!

This is going to be such a blast you don't want to miss it. Call now to reserve a spot. Timeless Treasures 949-888-7151.

Scrap Camp at Timeless Treasures

Hey everyone, just wanted to let everyone know that next weekend (March 17 and 18, 2012) Timeless Treasures is having its first ever SCRAP CAMP!

The camp is two days long and consists of 8 (yes, I said 8!) workshops with 8 different instructors so you get just a little bit of everything. Each workshop will be 1.5 hours.

The cost for camp is $100 (which breaks down to only $12.50 per class - what a value!).

You will also have the option to add on the Saturday night pizza crop for only $15 (and really, where else can you enjoy a pizza dinner, spend time with friends (or make new ones) and be able to spread out and catch up on some scrapbooking for $15?!). Well you just can't - lol.

So come join us for our first ever Scrap Camp,

For information call Timeless Treasures at 949-888-7151

Saturday Night Sunset

I just had to post these pictures.  We had the most fabulous weather this weekend.  The family went to BJs for dinner Saturday night and then walked over to Main Beach in Laguna to watch the sunset (and so Dylan could play on the big slide toy.  It was gorgeous!!

Have a great week!

Happy Birthday to Me!

I have the best coworkers ever! My boss (Mary) gave me the day off and then they alley me at Nick's down in Laguna for lunch. Mary, who makes the best carrot cake and cream cheese frosting ever, made me a cake to take home (don't think it's going to last very long ...yum). Thanks guys!
